In addition to their pharma business across the globe, the company is also focussing on improving the lives of the under privileged through social activities by its CSR Initiatives. The company takes up CSR activities through Virchow Foundation.
Three-Pronged Approach
VIRCHOW Foundation follows the three pronged approach - health, education and infrastructure for bringing smiles on the faces of the unfortunate and under privileged.
Health
VIRCHOW Foundation working with CSR funds to provide health care- IMPACT project taking care of the cancer effected children. Dialysis project which includes free dialysis treatment and medicines to CKD patients, providing artificial limbs to the physically challenged people. Blood bank-providing free blood and its components to the required people.
Education
Promoting digital education, scholarships program in-particular to the girl children for uninterrupted higher education, infrastructure to the schools like school buildings, toilets, compound walls, in & out door play equipment and benches.
Infrastructure
Improving the rural areas with basic infrastructure like roads, lights, drainages and RO water.
Foundation's Belief
VIRCHOW Foundation strongly believes that a healthy society with education is the only solution for many social evils in the society and which can be addressed successfully and feels proud to be part of social change in the lives of needy people in the society.
