Family History:
Pooja is the eldest child in the family. She has one sibling. Her father is daily laborer working as a supervisor in the site. Her mother is a house wife. Pooja is a lovely child seems to be quite and calm with the sibling. She presented to be very clever enough to understand the family situation as well.
Medical History:
One day pooja complaints of fever and swelling in the legs. Family consulted near the pediatrician in the village hospital. He did all the investigation, mean while he asked the family to meet another doctor for further clarification of symptoms she had.
Doctor in the private hospital went truth all the report and finally came to a conclusion of blood cancer symptoms in the report. Family was under stock for a week, and then her father took courage to bring the child to Hyderabad and consulted near Dr Satish, who referred this case to Dr Sudha.
After consulting Dr Sudha in Care, family decided to take treatment immediately. She has an option for the family to take treatment in SIPCC or in Care. Family courage sly took the decision of treating the child at SIPCC. Family had lot of doubt regarding the child situation, they tried to meet best oncologist in the city to get good opinion about the disease.
Finally, child was started her first chemo therapy in Sep-22 At SIPCC, with lot of heavy heart parents accepted the situation. Mother was very anxious about the child’s health and her condition. Focusing on nutrition food and caring her at the best brought her to travel a successful and painful journey.
